Description
An inexpensive 'Swiss' style precision screw micrometer complete with thimble rachet for consistent measurements of sheet materials such as paper, card, metals, fabric, etc..
Available in either an 'Inch' or 'Metric' model.
These micrometers measure thickness in increments of one thousandth of an inch (0.001") or 0.01mm and may be locked at a specific setting using the incorporated positive spindle lock.
The 0.256" (6.502mm) diameter anvils of the micrometer are carbide tipped and ground for accuracy and long life.
Measuring range is from 0 to 1" in increments of 0.001" for the inch model and 0 to 25mm in increments of 0.01mm for the metric model.
Supplied complete with zero setting wrench and storage case.
