Description
An easy to use handheld dial thickness gauge.
This gauge is specifically designed for measuring paper, card, metal and other sheet materials in increments as small as one thousandth of an inch (0.001").
No special skills are required to use this gauge and the thickness is displayed on a clock face type dial.
The gauge fits comfortably in the hand and a press on the top plate opens the precision flat anvils allowing the material to be measured to be inserted.
The thickness of the material is displayed on the dial in 0.001" increments. The dial reads from 0 to 100 and 0.100" is measured for each revolution of the dial hand.
The gauge incorporates a small revolution counter hand that counts complete revolutions of the large hand.
Zero setting is quick and easy by turning the dial face.
The throat depth is 4.75" (120.65mm) from the center of the measuring 3/8" (9.525mm) diameter anvils.
The maximum thickness that can be measured is 1.0" (25.4mm).
