This ruler was originally designed and marketed by Arthur Woodward of Woodward Associates, Inc. but has always been manufactured by GEI International, Inc.. Since 1995 this ruler has been available exclusively from GEI International, Inc.
These rulers are 'CUSTOM IMPRINTED' with your name, address, logo, web site, etc.. Your custom imprint is permanently etched onto one or both sides of the ruler and black filled to produce a high quality long lasting imprint which will not rub off. All graphics and markings including your imprint are etched at the time the ruler is manufactured.

A multi purpose ruler with graduated scales on all four edges and other various scales, charts and guides for a variety of uses. The ruler features custom punching for File Holes, Line Holes, MICR Size & Position, flow charting symbols, etc.. The full specifications of this ruler are listed below:
Measuring Scales:
1/16" scale with the first 3" graduated in 1/32".
1/6" scale reading vertically with the first 3" graduated in 1/12" and numbered every 3/6" from 0 to 66 (overall scale length is 11").
1/10" scale reading vertically and numbered every 1/10" with the first 3" graduated in 1/20". Numbered every 1/10" from 1 to 180.
Metric scale numbered every 10mm with a smallest graduation of 1mm.
Hole Punching:
Continuous Line-Hole punching, matches the edge of sprocket fed continuous paper. Used to indicate the position of forms and pin feed holes. 22 holes on 1/2" spacing.
File-Hole punching to indicate the correct position of: 3/8" at 2 3/4" & 4 1/4" center to center spacing.
File-Hole punching to indicate the correct position of: 1/4" at 2 3/4" & 4 1/4" center to center spacing.
MICR Guide use to locate the preferred position of magnetic ink encoding on checks, etc..
Square, triangle and large circle to use as templates for hand drawing flow chart symbols. Other Charts, Scales, Tables, Guides, etc.
Standard form width indicators (dots on edge of 1/16") scale from 4 3/4" to 17 25/32".
Snap-apart form depth indicators (dots on 1/16" scale furthest from ruler edge) from 5 1/2" to 14 3/4".
Tab Card Volume Scale graduated at 140 cards per inch and small quantity index from 0 to 560.
Ribbon Guide indicators and 5/32" scale.
Handwrite Line scale (boxes) graduated in 1/5", 1/4" & 1/3" use for designing forms filled in by hand.
Line Width indicator (on zero end of ruler) for easy line width measuring or comparison.
Paper Thickness Caliper Guide shows thickness of different types and weights of paper.
MICR Symbol Legend - field definition codes for magnetically encoded checks.
