Description
A Dial Indicator measuring gauge and stand for the accurate measurement of most materials including the thickness of sheet materials such as paper, card, fabric, metals, etc..
These dial gauges will measure thickness in increments of 0.001" or 0.01mm depending on the model selected.
The spring loaded anvil of the dial indicator is easily opened and the contact point is made from hardened steel for long life.
To measure material, pull on the rod at the top of the dial indicator to raise the anvil from the base and insert the material to be measured. The thickness is displayed on the clock face dial in increments of 0.001" or 0.01mm depending on the model selected.
Two models are available:
BNS-0130 measures in 0.001" increments, maximum capacity is 0.250" and the dial reads from 0 to 100 and 50-0-50 0.100" per revolution.
BNS-0131 measures in 0.01mm increments, maximum capacity is 10mm and the dial reads from 0 to 100 and 50-0-50 1.0mm per revolution.
Each gauge incorporates a small revolution counter hand that counts complete revolutions of the large hand.
Zero setting is quick and easy by turning the dial face.
Both gauges feature two adjustable tolerance limit indicators (high/low) which make repetitive inspection procedures less complicated.
Dimensions:
The dial indicators are 2.25" (57.15mm) in diameter.
The ground cast iron base (provides rigidity) and a hardened steel mounting post insure that the gauges will be accurate and have a long life.

Size: 5.50" x 4.25" (139.7mm x 107.95mm)
Indicator Post:
1" (25.4mm) diameter, 5/8" (15.875mm) from back of table.
Indicator Mount:
Indicator is mounted using a 1/4" bolt.
The contact point of indicator is 2.25" (57.15mm) from the center of the mounting post.
Rapid coarse positioning and 3/8" (9.525mm) of fine adjustment travel.
Inch and metric indicators are easily interchanged on the stand.
