Description
A precision micrometer made in the U.S.A. and specifically designed for measuring paper, card, cardboard and other sheet materials.
The oversize anvils are 7/16" (11.113mm) in diameter, are lapped and float to adjust to any surface condition. The large anvils prevent compressing fragile materials which are measured.
The micrometers will measure in increments of 0.001" or 0.01mm depending on the model selected.
Maximum capacity is 11/32" for the 'inch' model and 8.75mm for the 'metric' model.
The small size of only 3.5" (88.9mm) long and the finger holding ring makes these micrometers extremely easy and convenient to use.
The micrometers feature a rachet stop closing knob and locking ring as standard.
An optional robust jewelry type storage case manufactured from vinyl covered steel is available.
