Description
A pocket dial thickness gauge for measuring paper, card, metal and other sheet materials in increments of one thousandth of an inch (0.001").
No special skills are required to use this gauge and the thickness is displayed on a clock face type dial.
The compact gauge fits comfortably in the hand and a slight pull on the top plate opens the precision anvils allowing the material to be measured to be inserted.
The thickness of the material is displayed on the dial in 0.001" increments.
The throat depth is 0.390" (9.906mm) and materials up to 0.375" (9.525mm) thick may be measured.
The dial reads from 0 to 100 in 0.001" increments. Each revolution of the hand on the dial measures 0.100". The gauge incorporates a small revolution counter hand that counts complete revolutions of the large hand.
Quick zero setting of the gauge is possible by turning the dial face.
